Alicia Logue is the Executive Director at The Blake at Bossier City. She’s a native of Bossier City and brings a background in Business Administration at Louisiana State University at Shreveport (LSUS) and is CDP certified. She served as a CMO for a Home Health Agency for five years, an Administravie Professional in Respiratory Care for two, and has three years of Assisted Living Experience. Alicia’s favorite part about working with seniors is getting to build meaningful relationships and care for those who have spent so long caring for others. She is proud to be a part of an organization that cares, not only for their residents but for their employees.

Alicia is a mom of two boys and a stepson, and her free time is usually spent at a soccer or baseball field. She loves to read and spend time outdoors or cheering for LSU (Geaux Tigers!).

Tammie Davis serves as the Director of Sales at The Blake at Bossier City. She is originally from Morristown, Tennessee, but she has lived in Bossier City since she was 12 years old. She has an extensive background in Home Health as an Account Executive and as an Executive Director. Prior to that, she worked in the Oil and Gas Industry for CenterPoint Energy.

Tammie’s favorite part of working with seniors is being able to make a positive impact in their daily lives, and she learns so much from them every day. Her favorite part of working at QSLM is the camaraderie of her co-workers and, of course, the residents. She says, “It is truly a blessing to work with the group in Bossier City, and working where our residents live is a true joy.”

Outside of work, she loves spending time with her husband, children, and two grandsons. She is extremely passionate about gardening. She has won an award from The Cypress Garden Club for her yard and was featured in LOLA magazine for gardening advice.

She adds, “I am thankful to be able to go to a job daily that I love. It feels good to make a difference daily for our residents.”

Angela Couch has lived in the Shreveport and Bossier area for over 40 years. She serves as Director of Activities here at The Blake at Bossier City, and she is dedicated to creating meaningful experiences for the residents by bringing energy and compassion. With a heart of service, she works to bring joy, connection, and creativity to daily life within the community. From fitness classes and fun games to themed events and social gatherings, she loves planning activities that help residents stay active, socialize, and feel at home. She is passionate about making true connections and relationships with residents, and her goal each day is to make them smile, laugh, and know they are not alone. Working at QSLM feels like a second home to her. She likes that everyone works as a team, looking out for each other and helping out however they can.

Outside of work, Angela enjoys going to church, listening to worship music, and spending time with her family, friends, and fur babies. She’s a huge animal lover and loves to laugh.

John is originally from Shreveport, LA. He has extensive knowledge and experience in maintenance, which he has worked for over 37 years. He worked for Doctors' Hospital, Lifecare Hospital, and now for The Blake at Bossier City.

John’s favorite part of working with seniors is that they are always happy to see him. He truly enjoys working with our residents and guests. When John is not working, he is spending time with his family, especially his grandkids.

Paul Schiro is the Director of Dining Services (DDS) at the Blake at Bossier City. Born and raised in South Louisiana, Paul has a degree in Culinary and Business Management from Bossier Parish Community College. He has extensive experience in the culinary and catering industry, including food preparation, menu execution, event planning and catering, and maintenance of high standards of food quality, safety, and customer service in a fast-paced environment. He also has experience in retail operations.

Paul’s favorite part of working with seniors is building meaningful relationships with them and knowing that the meals he provides contribute to their comfort, happiness, and overall quality of life. He finds it rewarding to create a dining experience that brings people together. He enjoys working with QSLM because of the family-like environment that’s been created for residents, family, and team members, as well as the company’s commitment to and compassion for the residents and how it affects their daily living.

When Paul isn’t working, he loves spending quality time with his family, but most of all gardening. He loves creating a place where he can use the food he grows to provide fresh products.

Paul has worked in the culinary industry almost all his life, doing everything from catering weddings to working with young college students in retail to just doing what he does best, which is cooking. He says that the last 3 years of working in senior living has been the most memorable experience of his life and he feels that he’s found his calling working in senior living.
