Meet Our Team

Shealee Jarvis is the Executive Director at The Blake in Bossier City. She was born and raised in East Texas and earned her bachelor's degree from UT Tyler. After graduation, Shealee moved to the great city of Shreveport, where she continues to reside.  

Shealee started her career as a social worker in a skilled nursing home, transitioned over to hospice care, and then worked her way up to being an Executive Director in senior living. Her favorite part of working with seniors is bonding over stories and building loving relationships.  

When Shealee isn't working, she enjoys being with her family, including her husband Ray and their four children, Taylor, Brilee, Reece, and Rowe. She also loves to read, travel the world, and shop. 

Jan Hutchinson is the Director of Sales for The Blake at Bossier City. Jan has more than 20 years of experience in the travel industry and has lived all over the world. She is a native of Shreveport. Her favorite part of working with seniors is being able to reminisce about the old days and watching their eyes light up when they talk about their families. She is excited to work with a company with such good morals and down-to-earth personalities. She loves that The Blake puts the residents first!
