Meet Our Team

Paula serves as the Director of Business Operations at The Fairmont by Barclay House. Originally from Mississippi, she has been living in Virginia for nearly six years. Paula holds a Bachelor’s degree in Health and Human Services and brings 25 years of healthcare experience to her role, including 10 years working as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPHT).

She values the stories and history that seniors share, finding great meaning in those connections. Paula enjoys her work, especially the relationships she builds with both residents and colleagues.

Outside of work, Paula treasures time with her four grandchildren who live in Georgia and visits them whenever she can. She also enjoys walking and spending quiet time alone to recharge.

As Activity Coordinator at The Fairmont by Barclay House, Mary plans and leads daily programming that fosters engagement, connection, and joy among residents. She began her career in senior living as a housekeeper—first at another community, then at The Fairmont—before transitioning into her current role.

Originally from West Virginia and raised in Dumfries, Virginia, Mary brings a deep sense of empathy and enthusiasm to her work. Though new to activity coordination, she is passionate about building relationships with residents and creating a positive, enriching environment.

Outside of work, Mary enjoys thrifting and spending time with her dog and two cats. She often reflects on how rewarding this field has been and wishes she had entered senior living earlier in her career.

Isaiah Pummell is the Maintenance Coordinator at The Fairmont by Barclay House. He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. He has over 20 years of experience in various areas of construction and equipment operation, and he has extensive experience working in senior living, resorts, and restaurants. He enjoys learning about the lifetime of stories that each senior has, and he likes working at QSLM because the company has a big heart. 

He says, "When you enjoy your job it never feels like work.”

Outside of work, Isaiah enjoys hiking, climbing, camping, fishing, floating the river, playing basketball, and creating.
