Brenda serves as the Director of Business Operations at The Barclay at Midlothian, a QSLM community in Richmond, Virginia. A Virginia native, she brings a strong background in healthcare, administration, and a deep commitment to serving seniors.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from South University, is a Certified Dementia Practitioner through NCCDP, and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration at Liberty University.

Brenda began her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant, private caregiver, and EMT-B. Over the years, she transitioned into leadership roles in assisted living, group home management, hospice business operations, and senior care administration.

Her favorite part of working with seniors is hearing their stories and learning from their experiences. Brenda is proud to be part of QSLM, where the mission of serving others aligns with her own values.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, husband, and church family, and looks forward to continued growth within QSLM.

Keri Tate is the Director of Business Operations at The Barclay at Midlothian. Originally from New Jersey, she brings valuable experience in sales and service contracts to her role.

Keri’s favorite part of working with seniors is listening to their stories and seeing the light in their eyes when they feel seen, heard, and valued. Those moments of genuine connection make her work deeply meaningful.

At QSLM, Keri loves the sense of community—both with the residents and among her amazing team members who share the same dedication and compassion.

Outside of work, Keri enjoys painting, crafting, and spending time on self-care.

Sarah Just is the Area Director of Memory Care at The Barclay at Midlothian. Originally from Virginia Beach, Virginia, Sarah earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences from Old Dominion University with a concentration in Therapeutic Recreation. She also holds certifications in CDP, Validation Therapy, and ALF activity programming.

Sarah brings extensive experience in senior living, having worked across nursing homes, CCRCs, rehabilitation centers, assisted living, and memory care communities. Her favorite part of working with seniors is learning about their lives and building relationships with their loved ones. She finds it an honor to be part of their end-of-life journey and values the meaningful connections she forms every day.

Her favorite part of working at QSLM is the opportunity for growth and the strong communication with senior leadership, which helps her continue to make a difference in residents’ lives.

When she’s not at work, Sarah enjoys coaching volleyball, shopping and fashion, and spending time outdoors. She’s also proud of her personal fitness journey, having lost 95 pounds over two years.

Heylee Grow is the Reunion Program Coordinator at The Barclay at Midlothian. She is from Johnstown, Pennsylvania. She was an Event Coordinator in Arizona before moving to Virginia, where she started working in geriatrics and activities, and she is currently in the process of completing her Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) certification. Her favorite part of working with seniors is hearing their wisdom and getting to know their personalities. She enjoys working at QSLM because of the relationships she’s built with the staff, the residents, and their families. Outside of work, Heylee enjoys going to the gym.
