Brigitta Lewis serves as the Executive Director at The Barclay at Midlothian. Originally from Budapest, Hungary, she moved to the United States after being recruited to play basketball, an opportunity that shaped both her academic and professional journey. She attended Armstrong State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics and her Master of Arts in Professional Communication and Leadership within an accelerated four-year period. She has since become a licensed Assisted Living Administrator and a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP), as well.
During her time as a student-athlete, Brigitta discovered a deeper passion beyond the court—helping others, particularly seniors. Through volunteer work with her college basketball team at a local nursing home, she developed meaningful connections with residents that left a lasting impact on her and that ultimately guided her career path.
Brigitta began her professional journey in senior living as a Community Relations Director, where she focused on building strong relationships with residents and their families. Through a combination of an operations-driven mindset and a genuine commitment to people, she was promoted to Executive Director. Today, she continues to lead with empathy, foster community, and create environments where seniors feel valued, supported, and at home.
Brigitta’s favorite part of working with seniors is being able to make a difference in their day to day lives. She says that she has a “doer” personality. She listens and takes even the smallest concerns seriously, taking care of them as quickly as possible. She feels privileged to be able to serve the seniors in her community. She enjoys working for QSLM because of the supportive and transparent environment. She knows that if she needs any help, she can call on any of the subject matter experts and will get support immediately.
Outside of work, Brigitta enjoys gardening, reading, and being outdoors doing things like camping, hiking, or relaxing at the beach.
