Jeremiah Cofer serves as the Executive Director at Glenncrest at Decatur, where he has the privilege of leading an incredible team dedicated to providing exceptional care, meaningful engagement, and a warm, welcoming environment for our residents and their families.
A Georgia native, Jeremiah has a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality and Resort Management, as well as professional certifications that have prepared him for leadership in senior living. He also participates in ongoing training focused on assisted living operations, regulatory compliance, team leadership, and resident-centered care. He has seven years of leadership experience in senior living, along with previous experience in hotel management. This combination has helped him develop a strong passion for hospitality, service excellence, and creating exceptional experiences for residents and their families.
Jeremiah’s favorite part of working with seniors is building meaningful relationships with them and hearing the incredible stories they've collected throughout their lives. Their wisdom, resilience, and life experiences are truly inspiring, and he’s honored to help create an environment where they can continue to thrive. Working alongside passionate people who genuinely care about our residents makes every day rewarding.
When he’s not working, Jeremiah enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, tackling home improvement and decorating projects, and finding new opportunities to grow both personally and professionally.
