Meet Our Team

Evelin serves as the Director of Business Operations at Whealdon Estates, where she plays a key role in ensuring the community runs smoothly. In her position, Evelin manages resident and vendor payments, oversees building operations, and handles human resources tasks such as payroll and hiring—supporting both the team and the residents with care and precision.

Originally from Tegucigalpa, Honduras, Evelin now calls Denham Springs, Louisiana, home. She holds degrees in Computer Engineering and Business Administration and brings over a decade of experience in administrative and operational leadership. Her background in managing teams and driving efficiency has equipped her to thrive in her role at Whealdon Estates.

For Evelin, working with seniors isn’t just a job—it’s about caring for what she considers her extended family. She takes pride in making residents feel truly at home and ensuring their needs are met with compassion and respect.

What she values most about being part of QSLM is the diversity, the strong sense of teamwork, and the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally within a supportive environment.

Outside of work, Evelin enjoys spending quality time with her husband and their 3-year-old son. She loves cooking for her family and spending time outdoors at the park. For Evelin, Whealdon Estates isn’t just where she works—it’s a place filled with heart, purpose, and community.

Darlene Loria is the Activities Coordinator at Whealdon Estates by Barclay House. In her role, she plans, organizes, and implements engaging activities for residents both on-site and off-site, all in alignment with the monthly corporate theme. In addition to creating joyful and meaningful experiences, she also coordinates doctors’ appointments, Walmart outings, errands, and helps foster strong community connections between residents, their families, and outside providers.

Originally from Independence, Louisiana, Darlene holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing with a minor in Management, as well as a Master of Business Administration. Before joining senior living, she built a successful career in banking, managing several banking centers across Louisiana and serving as the In-Store Banking Consultant for Premier Bank/Bank One locations statewide.

Darlene’s favorite part of working with seniors is the joy she gets from simply spending time with them. She finds it incredibly rewarding to listen to their stories, share in their experiences, and brighten their days through meaningful connection.

What she enjoys most about working at QSLM is the sense of camaraderie—building relationships with staff and truly getting to know her team on a personal level has been one of the most fulfilling aspects of her role.

Outside of work, Darlene loves spending time with her family. Whether it’s cooking, shopping, or traveling, she cherishes every moment shared with her loved ones.
