Hope Kelly-Roberson is the Executive Director at Barclay House of Baton Rouge. She was born and raised in the Baton Rouge area and currently lives in Walker, Louisiana. She is a Registered Nurse, graduating from Excelsior University in Albany New York. She has been a nurse for 29 years, has been in administration for 19 years, and has been in the senior housing industry since 2020. Before coming to Barclay House, she was a Regional Director of Operations and a Regional Director of Clinical Services for another company, and also ran the hospice division of that company.

Her favorite part of working with seniors is hearing their stories. "I was raised by my grandparents, so I have always had a soft spot for seniors," she says. "I love hearing their history and stories about things that I only knew about from history books." Her favorite part of working at a QSLM community is the welcoming atmosphere. "I love that I have felt like I came home since the first day that I walked in to my building. The positivity in the building is palpable," she explains.

When she isn't working, she likes to go RV'ing, read books and spend time with my family and friends. She is also a real people person. She says, "I love to love on people! It makes my heart happy to make people smile!"

Yvette Hill is the Director of Business Operations at Barclay House of Baton Rouge. She was born in New Orleans and lived there most of her life. She moved to Baton Rouge in 2005 after Hurricane Katrina. She studied Business Administration at Loyola University of New Orleans and has worked in Long-term Care since 1993 as a Business Office Manager and Medical Insurance Biller. A number of those years were spent as a Regional Office Manager covering New Orleans, Baton Rouge and Slidell areas.

Her favorite part of working with seniors is getting to experience joy when talking to the elderly and learning of their life experiences. "I would rather hear life stories first-hand than read a book," she explains. Being able to help resolve any issues and make our residents happy gives her great satisfaction as well. "I once thought that I wanted to be a hospital biller," she says. "That lasted less than a year before I came back to LTC. I missed interacting with the elderly way too much!" Her favorite part of working at a QSLM community is that there is a feeling of family here at QSLM. She loves how our team members and residents all care for one another like family. She says, "This feeling makes coming to work a pleasure. And knowing that there is room to grow with a growing company is definitely a plus!"

When Yvette isn't working, she enjoys spending time with family and friends at their favorite restaurants or even just on her patio. They love backyard barbeques and camping when the weather is nice. Yvette also loves shopping or watching movies with her daughter. When she's not hanging out with family, she enjoys getting lots of cuddles from her Yorkie, Prince.
