He finds great fulfillment in listening to the rich life stories and experiences shared by prospective residents.

Matthew is inspired by QSLM’s commitment to providing a luxury lifestyle and meaningful new beginnings for its residents. He believes in the power of senior living to offer renewed purpose and joy—especially at a time when many feel their journey is winding down.

Outside of work, Matthew leads an active lifestyle. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, eating clean, and working out. His personal goal is to live a long, healthy life—ideally well past 100—just like many of the vibrant residents he serves.

Mirela “Mimi” is a Licensed Practical Nurse with over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Before joining The Barclay at Boynton Beach in April 2024, she worked in a variety of care settings, including skilled nursing facilities, acute rehabilitation, and hospice care. From 2019 to early 2024, she served as a Wellness Director with another organization, where she focused on promoting holistic health and wellness.

Earlier in her career, after several years in nursing, Mimi pursued higher education and earned a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, followed by a Master's degree in Social Policy. She spent a few years working as a social worker before returning to her first love—nursing. Her passion lies in helping others, especially those who are vulnerable and in need of compassionate care.

Outside of her professional life, Mimi enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends.

Teuta Dyrmishi is the Director of Business Operations at The Barclay at Boynton Beach. Originally from Albania, she holds degrees in Accounting and Business from the University of Tirana. Teuta brings over 13 years of experience in finance and business operations, including her previous role as a Board of Directors Assistant in assisted living in New York.

Her favorite part of working with seniors is learning from their life stories—gaining wisdom, perspective, and a deeper appreciation for the human experience. At QSL Management, Teuta values the company’s commitment to personal development and career advancement, noting its supportive environment and growth opportunities.

Outside of work, Teuta enjoys cooking, swimming, walking, and reading. She lives by the words of Mother Teresa: “Give your hands to serve and your hearts to love,” and believes that life is beautiful when lived with unconditional love.

Alyson Webb is the Director of Activities at The Barclay at Boynton Beach. Born and raised in Palm Beach County, Florida, Alyson brings both local roots and heartfelt dedication to her role. She is a Certified Dementia Practitioner and has a strong background in senior engagement, having previously served as an Activity Assistant in the Boynton Beach area. That experience laid the foundation for her leadership, allowing her to develop inclusive, enriching programs tailored to residents of all abilities.

Alyson’s favorite part of working with seniors is connecting with their life stories and being a source of joy, advocacy, and companionship. She values the creative freedom QSLM provides, enabling her to design diverse and meaningful activities that enhance residents’ daily lives.

Outside of work, Alyson enjoys exploring new restaurants, going to the movies, crafting, and spending cherished time with her family—especially her niece and nephew. Growing up in a multicultural Guatemalan and African American household, she was taught to honor and respect elders, a value that continues to shape her compassionate approach to senior care.

Elodie Emile-Vaval is the Assistant Director of Wellness at The Barclay at Boynton Beach. Originally from Haiti, Elodie moved to the United States in 2018 and pursued her passion for healthcare by completing her Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification. Her journey into nursing was built on a strong foundation of hands-on experience, having previously worked as a Home Health Aide (HHA) and Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).

Before transitioning into healthcare, Elodie spent seven years in her home country working in Human Resources as a Remuneration Officer. This background gave her valuable organizational and interpersonal skills that she now applies in her role supporting residents' wellness and care.

Elodie finds deep fulfillment in working with seniors, especially in moments when she can respond to acute changes in condition with compassionate care that makes a meaningful difference. In her spare time, she enjoys reading—a lifelong passion that continues to bring her peace and inspiration.

Originally from Jamaica, Dahlia brings a deep sense of compassion, resilience, and cultural richness to her role. She is a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) through NCCDP and has hands-on experience in resident care, which has shaped her holistic approach to geriatric care. Her background also includes a career in business management, equipping her with strong leadership and organizational skills.

Dahlia’s passion lies in making meaningful connections with seniors—bringing joy, comfort, and dignity to their lives. She values QSLM’s commitment to personalized care and is proud to be part of a team that prioritizes the total well-being of its residents.

Desmond Todd serves as the Director of Facility Maintenance at The Barclay at Boynton Beach. Originally from Kingston, Jamaica. He brings decades of hands-on experience and leadership to his role. Prior to joining QSLM, he worked for 18 years as a Senior Machine Adjuster at Transcontinental Packaging in Brooklyn, New York.

Desmond’s favorite part of working with seniors is the simple, heartfelt conversations that brighten their day. He finds joy in seeing residents smile as they settle into a warm, welcoming environment that feels like home. He takes pride in being part of a team at QSLM that upholds exceptional standards and fosters a beautiful, supportive atmosphere.

Outside of work, Desmond is passionate about sports—especially soccer and track & field. He has coached soccer for over 40 years, helping develop both national and international players. His commitment to giving back extends beyond athletics; he is the founder of Red Hills Retro Link Up, a nonprofit organization focused on uplifting his hometown community in Jamaica. He also remains an active stakeholder in his alma mater, Calabar High School in Kingston.

Kieth Ballysingh is the Dining Services Director at The Barclay at Boynton Beach. Born in Jamaica, Kieth brings a rich culinary background shaped by international experience and formal training. He holds Level 1 and 2 certifications from HEART Academy in Jamaica, is a Certified Executive Chef (CEC) through Johnson & Wales University, and is a Certified Food Safety Manager.

Kieth has worked in numerous five-star hotels across the Caribbean and in several prestigious country clubs throughout the United States. His impressive portfolio includes Sandals Resorts International, SuperClubs (Grand Lido Sans Souci, Hedonism), Mustique Island, Olde Cypress Golf & Country Club, The Club at The Strand, Sea Island Resorts, and AM Resorts.

Cooking has always been Kieth’s passion. Over the years, he has had the privilege of working alongside many renowned chefs, gaining exposure to diverse cuisines and cultures. His favorite part of working with seniors is creating meaningful connections through food—bringing joy to residents, even those with special dietary needs.

Outside of work, Kieth enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, and golfing.
