Meet Our Team

Rosanne Popkin serves as the Director of Business Operations at The Barclay at Boynton Beach. Originally from Long Island, New York, Rosanne earned an Accounting Certificate from Hunter Business School in Hicksville, New York, and an Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration from Palm Beach Community College, now Palm Beach State College.

Rosanne brings extensive experience in business administration, office management, and senior living. She has worked in senior living in Boynton Beach since 2012, beginning as a Lead Concierge before serving as an Activity Director and later transitioning to the Business Office and Human Resources in 2022. Her broader career includes experience in bookkeeping, restaurants, catering, bakeries, and interior design.

Rosanne’s favorite part of working with seniors is giving them the opportunity to share their stories and simply taking the time to listen. She enjoys sharing a cup of coffee or a meal with residents and hearing about their families, travels, experiences, and memories. She feels privileged when a resident chooses to share their story and values the meaningful connections that come from those conversations.

Rosanne considers the team at The Barclay to feel like family and appreciates their shared commitment to supporting residents and their families. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time at the beach, traveling, art, music, and making memories with family and friends. She is also a proud pet parent to two adopted senior cats, Lucy Lu and Kimmie.

Lydian Tessa serves as the Assistant Director of Wellness at The Barclay at Boynton Beach, where she helps oversee resident care, supports the nursing team, coordinates services with physicians and families, and advocates for residents’ health and well-being. A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Lydian began her journey at The Barclay in May 2021 as a Concierge before becoming an Activities Assistant. Through these roles, she developed a deeper understanding of the needs of older adults and the importance of meaningful engagement. Inspired by those experiences, she pursued nursing and later returned to the community as a nurse before being promoted to Assistant Director of Wellness.

Lydian’s favorite part of working with seniors is building relationships and hearing their life stories. She enjoys advocating for residents, supporting their independence, and helping them feel safe, respected, and cared for. She appreciates the strong sense of community at QSLM and the way residents, families, and team members work together to enhance residents’ quality of life.

Lydian believes senior living is more than a career. For her, it is a calling. She strives to bring compassion, integrity, and kindness to everything she does and is grateful for the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in residents’ lives. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, relaxing at the beach, exploring new places, and continuing to learn and grow.

Alyson Webb is the Director of Activities at The Barclay at Boynton Beach. Born and raised in Palm Beach County, Florida, Alyson brings both local roots and heartfelt dedication to her role. She is a Certified Dementia Practitioner and has a strong background in senior engagement, having previously served as an Activity Assistant in the Boynton Beach area. That experience laid the foundation for her leadership, allowing her to develop inclusive, enriching programs tailored to residents of all abilities.

Alyson’s favorite part of working with seniors is connecting with their life stories and being a source of joy, advocacy, and companionship. She values the creative freedom QSLM provides, enabling her to design diverse and meaningful activities that enhance residents’ daily lives.

Outside of work, Alyson enjoys exploring new restaurants, going to the movies, crafting, and spending cherished time with her family—especially her niece and nephew. Growing up in a multicultural Guatemalan and African American household, she was taught to honor and respect elders, a value that continues to shape her compassionate approach to senior care.

Dahlia is the Director of Memory Care at The Barclay at Boynton Beach, where she oversees daily operations and designs specialized activity programs that support cognitive health and enhance quality of life. She works closely with the wellness and care teams to ensure person-centered care and serves as a trusted liaison for families, offering guidance and support as their loved ones’ needs evolve.

Originally from Jamaica, Dahlia brings a deep sense of compassion, resilience, and cultural richness to her role. She is a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) through NCCDP and has hands-on experience in resident care, which has shaped her holistic approach to geriatric care. Her background also includes a career in business management, equipping her with strong leadership and organizational skills.

Dahlia’s passion lies in making meaningful connections with seniors—bringing joy, comfort, and dignity to their lives. She values QSLM’s commitment to personalized care and is proud to be part of a team that prioritizes the total well-being of its residents.

Outside of work, Dahlia enjoys spending time in nature and cherishing moments with her family.

Desmond Todd serves as the Director of Facility Maintenance at The Barclay at Boynton Beach. Originally from Kingston, Jamaica. He brings decades of hands-on experience and leadership to his role. Prior to joining QSLM, he worked for 18 years as a Senior Machine Adjuster at Transcontinental Packaging in Brooklyn, New York.

Desmond’s favorite part of working with seniors is the simple, heartfelt conversations that brighten their day. He finds joy in seeing residents smile as they settle into a warm, welcoming environment that feels like home. He takes pride in being part of a team at QSLM that upholds exceptional standards and fosters a beautiful, supportive atmosphere.

Outside of work, Desmond is passionate about sports—especially soccer and track & field. He has coached soccer for over 40 years, helping develop both national and international players. His commitment to giving back extends beyond athletics; he is the founder of Red Hills Retro Link Up, a nonprofit organization focused on uplifting his hometown community in Jamaica. He also remains an active stakeholder in his alma mater, Calabar High School in Kingston.

Richard Lanza serves as the Director of Dining Services at The Barclay at Boynton Beach. Originally from Long Island, New York, Richard earned an Associate of Occupational Studies (A.O.S.) degree in Culinary Arts and Hospitality from the Culinary Institute of America. He brings a background in restaurants and country clubs throughout the Hamptons and Palm Beach.

Richard’s favorite part of working with seniors is enjoying their sense of humor and making them laugh. He appreciates the teamwork at QSLM and the opportunity to work alongside a dedicated team.

Outside of work, Richard enjoys golfing, spending time with family, and, of course, great food.
