Meet Our Team

Emilie is the Director of Business Operations here at The Blake at LPGA. She is a native Floridian and grew up in Sanford before moving to New Smyrna Beach.

Before moving into the Senior Living Industry, Emilie worked in various other industries, including healthcare, customer service, and office administration.

Emilie's favorite part of working with seniors is being able to form connections with them. She enjoys hearing their stories and learning all about their life experiences. She enjoys working for The Blake because she loves building relationships, helping families with the transition, and guiding them through their processes.

When she is not working, Emilie enjoys spending time with her two children and fiancé. They love enjoying water activities like going to the beach, water parks, or just sitting by the pool.

Kimberly Frederick is the Assistant Director of Sales at The Blake at LPGA. She was born and raised in Colorado and relocated to Florida in 2012, where she met her husband. They now live in Ormond Beach with their three children. She holds a bachelor's degree in healthcare administration from College America in Denver, Colorado. Before moving to Florida, she provided home health care for a close friend and cared for him until his passing. Over the past ten years, she has worked in revenue cycle management, gaining valuable experience in the healthcare field.

What Kimberly loves most about working with seniors is hearing their stories. There’s an endless amount to learn from their experiences, and it brings her true joy to know that her work positively impacts their lives. She was drawn to The Blake because she wanted to be part of a community that didn’t feel like traditional assisted living, and The Blake checked all the boxes.

Outside of work, Kimberly enjoys spending time with her family. With three young children, ages 9, 7, and 5, their lives are full of activities—from sports to dance classes. They love to travel, catch live music whenever they can, and take advantage of everything Florida has to offer.

Whitney James is the Assistant Director of Wellness. Whitney comes from Palatka, Florida. Her experience is mainly in skilled and long-term care. She also worked in hospice, home health, and correctional nursing. Her favorite part of working with seniors is spending time with residents. She loves getting to know each resident individually, hearing their life stories and learning their backgrounds. "There is always an opportunity to gain wisdom!" she says. Her favorite part of working at The Blake is the teamwork. "Everyone is always willing to give a helping hand," she says. "The environment was very welcoming from day one."

When she isn't working, she likes binge-watching Grey's Anatomy and spending time with her husband and three girls.
