Jim Fairchild is the Executive Director at the Barclay House of Augusta. He is originally from Wabash, Indiana, and currently lives in Aiken, South Carolina. He has received his Bachelor's in Theology from Southeastern FWB College, and is also dually licensed in skilled nursing and assisted living. He has 25 years of pastoral experience and also worked as a skilled nursing facility administrator in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He loves people, especially seniors, and his favorite part of working with seniors is making their golden years great. His favorite part of working with QSL Management is the impressive leadership.
When he isn't working, he enjoys teaching college courses and doing whatever his wife tells him he'd like doing! He's been married to his wife, Kim, for 37 years – she has a doctorate in nursing practice and teaches nursing at the University of South Carolina in Aiken. Together, they have five children: Courtney, a dermatologist PA with her doctorate; Austin, who is completing master’s degree in Family Counseling and currently works as a hospice chaplain and youth pastor; Tyler, who is currently working on master’s degree in computer analytics and works in computer analytics; Caleb, who is currently working on his Ph.D. in Astrophysics and Small Particles Physics and works with CERN; and Reagan, who is finishing his undergrad in ministry at Charleston Southern and starting grad school in Fall of 2025.
