Felicia Rodriguez is the Director of Wellness at The Blake at Lafayette. Originally from Austin, TX, she’s lived in Louisiana since August of 2009 and currently resides in Mire. She worked as a Pharmacy Technician from 2009 to 2020 and then became an LPN in 2019. Felicia has worked in long-term care and skilled nursing facilities as a floor nurse, both day and night shift, CNA Supervisor, QA Nurse, Infection Control Preventionist, ADON, and as a Scheduler.

Her favorite part about working with seniors is the depth of perspective she gets from residents. Felicia believes you don’t just interact with someone in the moment, but connect with decades of life experiences, stories, and lessons that you won’t find in books.

Outside of work, Felicia is spending time with her four children; 3 girls aged 3, 14, and 17, and one boy who is 10. They all love the outdoors, camping, and mud riding.

Beth Hall is the Director of Business Operations here at The Blake at Lafayette. Originally from Ohio, Beth has been in Louisianna for 24 years and in the Lafayette area for four. She has been working in the senior living realm for those 24 years, including time at a tube feeding company, an LTC pharmacy, and as an office manager. Her favorite part of working with seniors is hearing the stories about their families, careers, and just general conversations. Beth is grateful to be a part of a team that has been consistently supportive and helpful.

When she's not working, Beth is spending time with her girls, 22 and 11 and a 9-month-old granddaughter. She also enjoys flea markets, thrift stores, going to the beach, and reading a good book.

Originally from Abbeville, Lisa Pero is the Assistant Director of Wellness at The Blake at Lafayette. She has 23 years of experience as a nurse, was the Assistant Director of Nursing, and has been an Infection Control/QA and Floor nurse.

Her favorite part about working with seniors is listening to their stories and life experiences that they share. She also loves to make them smile. To Lisa, QSLM is a joyful atmosphere and family friendly place to work.

When she’s not working, Lisa is fishing or enjoying the outdoors. She’s down to earth, works well with others, and she’s always willing to help.

Clara McDowell Wilkinson is the Director of Activities at The Blake at Lafayette. She was born in Austin, Texas, and recently moved to Lafayette from Shreveport, Louisiana. Clara has a Bachelor's in Sociology, from LSU-S, as well as a Resident Activity Director certification. She loves learning from our seniors—they have much wisdom and knowledge—and she enjoys being a bright spot in their day, bringing smiles, love, and laughter. When she’s not working, Clara enjoys spending time with her own family and friends.

Sara Johnson started caring for the elderly in 1982. She is a certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Activity Director and a Certified Dementia Practitioner. Sara is a mother to one. She has always had a heart to serve others. She believes that every day is an opportunity for an adventure. As the Reunion Program Coordinator her goal is to bring laughter and purpose to the community whether its through music , crafts, or outings. Sara is determined to make sure that the residents at The Blake at Lafayette live their best lives.
