Elizabeth Pond serves as the Executive Director at The Blake. Although she lived in several places due to her father's Air Force career, she proudly calls Ocean Springs, Mississippi, home since his retirement from Keesler AFB in 1984.
Elizabeth has over 15 years of experience in senior living. She began her career as a Marketer for Brookdale Senior Living, later transitioning into a Memory Care Director role. In 2014, she became the Executive Director at Bay Cove Memory Care, where she also earned certification as a Dementia Capable Instructor. In 2021, her role expanded to overseeing both Assisted Living and Memory Care communities.
Elizabeth’s favorite part of working with seniors is the opportunity to build deep, personal connections with residents and their families. She treasures the lifelong friendships she’s formed and feels honored to care for her residents as if they were her own parents.
At The Blake, Elizabeth is inspired by the strong sense of community. She loves the welcoming atmosphere, where residents enjoy great friendships, delicious meals, and a full calendar of engaging activities in a beautiful environment.
Outside of work, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her granddaughter, family, and friends. Her hobbies include boating, reading, watching Alabama football, and any activity that lets her soak up the sun and enjoy the water.

Monica is originally from South Bend, Indiana. She graduated from Saint Mary’s College with a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications and a focus on Marketing & Public Relations. She has 8+ years of experience in healthcare and marketing. Her favorite thing about working with our seniors is seeing them every day, exchanging stories, and laughing with them. Monica moved to the Gulf Coast in 2018. She fell in love with the laid-back, coastal community and is currently residing in Vancleave, Mississippi, with her two pups – Beau & Stevie. When she isn’t working, Monica enjoys traveling, going to the beach, and hanging with her four-legged pals.

Tiffany Wiggins
Director of Wellness

Tiffany is the Director of Wellness here at The Blake at Biloxi. She is a Native Biloxian with strong ties to the Coastal community. She is a Licensed Practical Nurse with an Associate Degree in Science.
Tiffany has 15 years of experience in healthcare. She started her career as a certified medical assistant, from which her career path quickly excelled, making a name for herself in the community as a humble leader who upholds the standards of care. She has experience as a college healthcare educator, multiple specialty nursing (acute, pediatrics, geriatric, etc.), and healthcare director/supervisory roles.
Her favorite part of working with seniors is hearing about their life experiences and soaking up their knowledge. Due to her strong Southern upbringing, she holds elders in high regard and feels it is a privilege to be able to serve them. She enjoys working at The Blake because it places her in an environment where she can honor and serve the senior community.
When she is not working, she enjoys taking care of her family and volunteering with schools and multiple community organizations. She is an active participant in her children’s lives and their extracurricular activities. In her “me time”, she enjoys traveling and dining.

Jasmine Wells
Director of Business Operations

Jasmine is our Director of Business Operations here at The Blake at Biloxi. She is originally from Wiggins, MS, and she graduated with a B.S. in Healthcare Administration from Southern Hampshire University. She has worked in the senior living industry for more than five years, in roles including Life Enrichment Director, Memory Care Director, Business Office Director, and Assistant Director of Sales.
Her favorite part about working with seniors is getting to know them personally and learning from them. She believes that there is a lot that younger generations can learn from seniors. She loves listening to their stories and often walks away with valuable life lessons. In her spare time, Jasmine enjoys spending time with her family traveling to new places. Some of Jasmine's favorite hobbies include painting in her backyard, as well as riding her bike along the beach on a bright, sunny day.

Sammi Lee

Sammi is originally from Huntsville, Alabama, but grew up in Pascagoula, Mississippi. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Southern Mississippi and is continuing her education at The University for Women to earn a master’s degree in business administration. Before she was at The Blake, she worked for 4 years as an assistant teacher in the Pascagoula-Gautier School District. While working as an assistant teacher, she worked as a concierge here at The Blake. Her favorite part of working with seniors is hearing their life stories and getting to know them. She loves working at The Blake because it is an amazing place – "Everyone is a team player and kind," she says. Whenever Sammi is not working she enjoys playing pickleball, reading, and going on adventures with her cat, Nyx.

Matthew Crosby

Matthew is the Assistant Director of Wellness at the Blake at Biloxi. Originally from Brookhaven, MS, he has lived on the Gulf Coast for 4 years, currently residing in Biloxi, MS. Matthew is a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse graduate from Hinds Community College with 8 years of experience in the healthcare industry. His passion for nursing stems from his desire to help others and make a positive impact on their lives. Throughout his career, Matthew has faced various challenges, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, where he witnessed firsthand the toll it took on patients and healthcare professionals. Despite the struggles, He remained committed to providing the best possible care to those in need. One of the most exciting aspects of his career has been the opportunity to travel as a nurse to different parts of the world, including the U.S. Virgin Islands. That experience has not only broadened his clinical skills but has also given him a deeper understanding of diverse cultures and healthcare systems. His favorite part about working with seniors is hearing their stories, sharing laughs, and learning from their wealth of knowledge. He finds great privilege in building meaningful connections with seniors and being able to provide support and companionship. He enjoys contributing to their well-being and happiness. When he is not working, he loves spending time with his family, friends, and dog, Winley. He enjoys traveling and new dining experiences. He recently sparked a new interest in theatre after his latest role as a Soldier in the musical production One Thousand Words at Biloxi Little Theatre.

Her favorite part of working with seniors is reminding them that they're "never too old to be young." She loves working on a team that shares the same passions as her. When she isn't working, she enjoys spending time with her family.

Kimberly Johnson
Memory Care Director

Kimberly Johnson is the Director of Memory Care, originally from Paulina, LA, and has been living on the Gulf Coast for the past 13 years. She holds a B.S. in Therapeutic Recreation from Grambling State University and a Master’s in Healthcare Administration from The University of Arizona Global Campus. With 22 years of experience in healthcare, she has worked in various settings, including Long-term Care (LTC), Rehabilitation, Psychiatric, and Assisted Living. She has also held roles as a Life Enrichment Director and Director of Memory Care. What Kimberly cherishes most about working with seniors is the opportunity to learn something new every day and to hear about the remarkable experiences of the residents. At The Blake, she enjoys spending time with the residents and staff, making work feel like pure enjoyment. Her hobbies include reading, researching healthcare topics, traveling, and spending time with family and their dogs. Additionally, Kimberly is a Certified Journeyman Welder with 11 years of experience, having worked at Huntington Ingalls Shipbuilding for 5 years.

Christopher Roche
Director of Dining Services

Christopher Roche is the Director of Dining Services at The Blake. A native of Biloxi, Mississippi, he holds an Associate’s degree in Business Management and Accounting from MGCCC and is ServSafe certified. Christopher’s passion for the culinary world began at an early age, growing up in the restaurant industry at Mary Mahoney’s. He started as a busser in the café as a teenager, then worked his way through roles as a dishwasher, cook, and server at both the café and the fine dining French House. After Hurricane Katrina, he relocated to Texas, where he worked for Bordon’s Dairy and Ocean Spray before returning home in 2012. Upon his return, he joined IP Casino as a cook, quickly advancing to Sous Chef and later becoming the Specialty Chef at The Café. Following the pandemic, he took on leadership roles at Scarlet Pearl, running the Pizza Shop, Coffee Shop, and Café.
Christopher’s love for working with seniors stems from his childhood, as his mother worked as an LVN in assisted living and nursing homes, and his grandparents were residents in senior communities. Bringing joy to seniors, especially through food, is something he deeply cherishes. At The Blake, he finds the greatest fulfillment in seeing residents enjoy the meals and hospitality he and his team provide, appreciating their genuine gratitude.
Outside of work, Christopher treasures time with his wife and sons. He enjoys singing, songwriting, worshiping, reading his Bible, and taking trips with his family. And, of course—Go Cowboys!

Kenneth Owens
Director of Facility Management

Kenneth Owens is the Director of Facility Maintenance at The Blake. Originally from Biloxi, Mississippi, Kenneth brings a strong background in electrical and electronics to his role. While he doesn’t hold formal degrees or certifications, his hands-on experience and dedication make him a valuable asset to the community. His favorite part of working with seniors is finding ways to make their lives easier, and what he enjoys most about The Blake is the people he works with every day. Outside of work, Kenneth loves spending time with his grandchildren.
