Amber Ott serves as the General Manager at Deepwood Estates by Barclay House. She is from Columbia, SC, and has over 15 years in Senior Living Experience. Prior to joining the senior living realm, Amber managed a DME company and two Sleep Labs. Her favorite part of working with seniors is getting to know them and learning their backgrounds and histories. She values her work at QSLM and the people who share the same passion for senior care. When not at work, Amber is decorating, crafting, and spending time with her family and friends.

Kia Drummond
Director of Business Operations
Kia Drummond is the Director of Business Operations at Deepwood Estates by Barclay House, where she oversees daily operations, supports team efficiency, and ensures high-quality care and services. Originally from Montgomery, West Virginia, Kia brings years of operational experience in hospice, home health care, and skilled nursing facilities, which has given her a strong foundation in healthcare operations and leadership. She also has experience as a travel nurse, where she held roles focused on improving processes, supporting staff, and enhancing patient care outcomes.
Kia’s favorite part of working with seniors is building meaningful relationships and learning from their life experiences. Since she was a little girl, she’s had a heart for seniors, and she enjoyed volunteering at local nursing homes to read to the patients. She says, “It’s incredibly rewarding to be part of a field where you can make a real difference in someone’s quality of life.” Working at QSLM, she most enjoys being part of a compassionate, team-oriented environment that is truly dedicated to serving others and making a positive impact in the community.
Outside of work, Kia enjoys spending time with her family and traveling whenever she has the opportunity.
