One of Matt’s favorite aspects of working with seniors is the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with them. Their wealth of life experience brings unique perspectives and wisdom, and he really enjoys learning from their stories. He finds it incredibly rewarding to make a positive impact on their daily lives, whether it’s through providing care, a kind conversation, or simply making their day a little brighter.
His favorite part of working at QSLM is the sense of fulfillment that comes from being part of a team that genuinely cares about making a positive impact in the lives of seniors. The collaborative environment and shared commitment to providing high-quality care makes every day rewarding. He also appreciates the continuous opportunities for growth, both in his role and as part of a larger, supportive community.
Matt brings a strong background as a turnaround specialist and continuous improvement specialist. Over the years, he’s honed his skills in identifying areas for improvement, developing actionable strategies, and leading teams through successful transformations. He’s confident that, with this experience, and the truly amazing leadership team and fantastic employees we have serving the residents we can improve the building and ensure it reaches its full potential.
When Matt’s not working, he enjoys volunteering with animals—it’s incredibly rewarding to help out and make a difference in their lives. He also loves playing the saxophone and piano, both of which are great outlets for creativity and relaxation. Another passion of his is rock climbing; it’s a perfect way to challenge himself both physically and mentally while being outdoors. He also continues to practice as an EMT, staying involved in the field and maintaining his skills to be ready to help when needed.
