Meet Our Team

Brook Wilson serves as the General Manager at Washington Commons by Barclay House, where she brings a heartfelt passion for senior living, a strong background in healthcare leadership, and a deep commitment to serving residents and families with compassion, dignity, and respect.

A native of Augusta, Georgia, Brook earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Augusta State University, where she also completed specialized certifications in Gerontology and Reminiscence Training. She is licensed in Georgia as an Assisted Living Community Administrator and is a Certified Dementia Practitioner through the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners.

Brook’s career began as a Certified Nursing Assistant, giving her a strong foundation in care and a meaningful appreciation for the daily needs of residents. Over the years, her career has grown through many areas of senior care and healthcare service, including activities, sales, social work, advocacy, and executive leadership. With more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare profession, Brook has served as a medical social worker for adults and pediatrics, a victim advocate for individuals and families facing abuse, and a long-term care Director of Social Work in a CCRC. Most recently, she spent more than seven years as the Executive Director of an assisted living community, where she led with both professionalism and heart.

Brook loves working with seniors because she believes every resident has a story, a lesson, and a legacy worth honoring. She often says that seniors bring as much joy, wisdom, and purpose to her life as she hopes to bring to theirs. Her approach to leadership is rooted in kindness, teamwork, listening well, and creating an environment where residents, families, and team members feel seen, valued, and supported.

Brook is grateful to be part of QSLM and Washington Commons, where she has felt welcomed and valued as a true partner from day one. She appreciates the strong team spirit, encouragement, and shared commitment to excellence that make the community such a special place to serve.

When Brook is not working, she enjoys playing Mahjong, reading, crocheting, and spending time at the beach in Edisto or Tybee. During football season, you will find her proudly cheering on the Dawgs. Brook and her husband, Billy, have been married for 30 years and are blessed with three young adult sons. Their Christian faith is an important part of their family life, and they are grateful for the many blessings the Lord has given them.

Caroline serves as the Area Director of Sales for Washington Commons by Barclay House, bringing over 10 years of experience in senior living marketing and sales. She supports prospective residents and their families through the decision-making process, helping them discover a lifestyle where they can thrive.

Originally from Beaufort, South Carolina, and raised in Augusta, Georgia, Caroline holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing from the University of Georgia, Class of 2007. Her professional background also includes sales roles in advertising and membership recruitment for a local real estate company in Evans.

Since joining QSLM, Caroline has been impressed by the strong support system and encouragement provided by leadership across the organization. She values the collaborative environment and appreciates how QSLM recognizes and celebrates success.

She finds great fulfillment in helping seniors find their next home—one that offers independence, connection, and peace of mind. Building relationships with residents and learning about their life stories and accomplishments is one of her favorite aspects of the role.

Outside of work, Caroline enjoys spending time at home with her husband of 17 years, Jeff, and their two sons, Carter and Cody. She’s also a proud Georgia Bulldogs fan and never misses a chance to cheer on her team—Go Dawgs!

Gina Mead is the Director of Business Operations at Washington Commons by Barclay House. Born and raised in Augusta, Georgia, Gina brings over a decade of dedicated experience in senior living, all proudly spent at Washington Commons.

Her favorite part of working with seniors is the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with residents. She finds great joy in listening to their stories, brightening their days, and contributing to their happiness and well-being.

Outside of work, Gina enjoys spending quality time with her family, doing arts and crafts with her children, exploring the outdoors, and traveling.
