Biz Austin is the Sales Director at River’s Edge by Barclay House, where she helps individuals and families navigate senior living options and find a community that truly feels like home. Biz is originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, and has spent much of her career working in senior living communities in the Southeast. She has over five years of hands-on experience working in senior living, with a focus on resident engagement, community programming, and building strong relationships with residents and families. Before stepping into her current role, she worked in senior living in activities and community engagement, where she planned events, built relationships with residents and families, and helped create a vibrant, welcoming environment. That experience gave her a strong understanding of what truly matters when choosing a senior living community.
Biz’s favorite part of working with seniors is building genuine relationships and getting to hear residents’ stories. She loves creating moments that bring joy, connection, and a sense of belonging. She loves being part of the QSLM team because it is focused on helping people during an important transition in their lives and making that process feel supportive and positive.
Outside of work, Biz enjoys staying active, going to the gym, spending time outdoors, and exploring new places. She also enjoys focusing on personal growth and maintaining a healthy balance.
