Meet Our Team

Nicole Porter serves as the Executive Director at The Barclay at Whiskey Road. Originally from Santee, South Carolina, she grew up surrounded by this industry. Her grandparents built and managed several nursing homes and one assisted living community. Nicole has an Associate's Degree in Business Management, and she has worked in healthcare for over 15 years. She started as a Caregiver and worked her way up to a Licensed Activities Director, Business Office Manager, and now an Executive Director. 

Nicole loves working with seniors because she’s able to give them the best quality of life they deserve. She loves learning about them, hearing their stories, and the way they become part of your family. She says it’s the greatest joy of all.

Nicole is married and has 3 boys, including an 18-year-old who has been serving in the U.S. Marines and 16-year-old twins. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, watching movies, and binge-watching TV shows.

Sarah Denero is the Director of Sales at The Barclay at Whiskey Road. She is from a small town just northeast of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She has a BS in Communications from Slippery Rock University in PA, and an MFA in Media Arts from the Savannah College of Art & Design. She has worked in marketing for over 20 years, with the last 10 years working in Senior Living. Her passion is helping adult children and other family members find the care their loved ones need. She loves being a resource for them as they navigate the options available.

When she’s not working, Sarah enjoys doing Pilates, taking weekend getaways, spending time with family and friends, camping, and doing pretty much anything outdoors.

Sarah loves working and living in Aiken and appreciates the opportunity to serve our seniors.

Tiffany O’Neal serves as the Director of Wellness at The Barclay at Whiskey Road. She is originally from Blackville, South Carolina. She has obtained certification as a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) from the University of Florida and a Licensed Nurse Practitioner (LPN) from Denmark Technical College. She has worked in the healthcare field since 2009, with over 10 years of managerial experience. She maintains and values excellent customer service skills, communication skills, and technology skills.

Tiffany loves being able to provide happiness and love to our seniors. She feels that they have paved the way for her and others, and she enjoys being able to provide them with peace of mind, now. She looks forward to nourishing her skills with QSLM.  

Tiffany has two amazing children. Her 20-year-old son is in the US Navy, and her 18-year-old daughter is a Licensed Cosmetologist at The Barclay at Whiskey Road. She’s also married to an amazing man who proudly serves our country. She loves to learn new things and strives to be the best in everything she does. In her free time, Tiffany enjoys spending time with her family, watching movies, and shopping.
