Meet Our Team

Lisa Ash is the Executive Director at The Barclay at Whiskey Road. Originally from West Virgina, she’s been in the Carolinas since 1973 and has been a Certified Dementia Practitioner since 2006. She’s worked with seniors for 40 years; 20 in skilled nursing and 20 in assisted living. Lisa’s favorite part about working with seniors is learning about their lives and listening to what they have to share about their upbringing and experiences she believes she can learn from.

Lisa loves to travel – she is a cruise fanatic but loves to camp and enjoy nature as well. She’s a Marine Corp brat and lived in the Orient as a child. Now, she’s a proud mom of two children and grandmother to four beautiful granddaughters.

Sarah Denero is the Director of Sales at The Barclay at Whiskey Road. She is from a small town just northeast of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She has a BS in Communications from Slippery Rock University in PA, and an MFA in Media Arts from the Savannah College of Art & Design. She has worked in marketing for over 20 years, with the last 10 years working in Senior Living. Her passion is helping adult children and other family members find the care their loved ones need. She loves being a resource for them as they navigate the options available.

When she’s not working, Sarah enjoys doing Pilates, taking weekend getaways, spending time with family and friends, camping, and doing pretty much anything outdoors.

Sarah loves working and living in Aiken and appreciates the opportunity to serve our seniors.

Stacey Nathan is the Director of Business Operations at The Barclay at Whiskey Road. She is originally from New York, having moved to South Carolina after meeting her boyfriend 26 years ago. Stacey is currently taking courses for an SHRM certification and previously worked at an Assisted Living Community for eight years. Prior to that, she was a Buyer and worked in the IT department for a nuclear enginerring firm.

Stacey's favorite part of working with seniors is hearing their stories. She loves learning about their interesting expereinces and sharing their sense of humor. For Stacey, the residents are the best thing about working at QSLM.

When she's away from work, Stacey loves to read and spend time with her cats, whom she affectionately calls her reason for living. She has six indoor and two outside, including a special tripod kitty.
